World Forestry Congress, US Delegation Exhibit, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Project type:  Exhibit concept- 20 x 30 footprint

The World Forestry Congress, held every six years, gathers representatives from a variety of countries and institutions to share ideas and discuss policies related to forestry management, conservation, and other related issues. For their booth at the 2009 event, the U.S. Forest Delegation sought to create a welcoming and informational environment that conveyed information about U.S. policies and programs while inviting international delegates to share their experiences and expertise.

The booth design needed to effectively relay the messages of the stakeholders in an eco-friendly way. We reduced the carbon footprint by sourcing the majority of the materials in Argentina. The exhibit was constructed on site in Buenos Aires by Boothster.

While the project ultimately took on a different form and footprint, this design proved useful in providing a range of  ideas and materials that were used in the final version.
